ID cards are valid for six years and you should receive a renewal notice shortly before your card is due to expire. Renewals are available through driver's license exam stations for a $18 fee.

To get a replacement card, bring two acceptable proof of identity documents and one proof of residency document to a driver's license exam station, along with payment for the $15 replacement fee.
