    If you change your name on your title, you'll have to apply for a completely new title in your new name. You'll need the following materials to apply:

    • Completed application for title, available by email request to mvbmail@dor.mo.gov, or at your local office. Make sure to request "Name Change Documents."
    • Original title
    • Documentation to prove your name change (marriage certificate, divorce decree, court order, etc.)
    • Payment for a new title. $8.50 for the title, $2.50 for processing.
