Top Fees

• Motorboats less than 16 feet in length and motorized canoes, regardless of length: $12

• Motorboats between 16 and 20 feet: $24

• Motorboats 20 feet or longer: $33

Top Renewals and Replacements

Boat registrations are on a three-year cycle that begins on January 1 and ends three years later on December 31. The current registration period ends December 31, 2010.

Top Boater License

Persons ages 12 to 15 may not operate a powerboat propelled by more than a 10 horsepower engine without adult supervision, unless he or she completes a state-approved boat safety class.
